On March 14th, high school students competed by showing off their cooking skills for the opportunity to earn tuition scholarships. First place winner Richard Mintz received a $3,000 tuition scholarship, second place winner Hope Smith was awarded a $1,000 tuition scholarship, and third place winner Stephanie Sons received a $500 tuition scholarship. The first place winner advances to the national final round competition on Saturday, May 9th with a total of 34 finalists competing.
